Recent Restorations #2 James Dean Lookalike

This photo restoration was a real challenge. As you can see the original photo was not in good shape. Someone had placed clear tape over the photo, most likely to put the photo into an album. Over the years it has attracted dirt and yellowed. But I was quite proud of the way it turned out.
When I saw it for the first time I thought of James Dean: the leather jacket, the cigarette, the attitude. All reminded me of the famous actor and as you may know, Dean died in an auto accident on September 20 of 1955, close by us at the junction of Highway 41 and 46 here in California.
